CCATCM Recognition

Since it's beginning in 2009 the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine has been visited by a number of elected officials at different levels of government. These officials have spoken to our students and taken the time to acknowledge our college.

Nova Scotia Minister of Immigration The Honourable Lena Metlege Diab

The Honourable Lena Metlege Diab, Nova Scotia Minister of Immigration, visited the college on Feb. 7, 2019 to help celebrate the college's 10th anniversary and celebrate Chinese New Year.

 

Speaker of the House Geoff Regan Visits the College

The Speaker for the House of Commons Geoff Regan, who is also a resident of Bedford, spoke to the students at the Canadian College of Acupuncture in January of 2018.

CCATCM Accredited by The Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine College of Canada

The Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine College of Canada certified CCATCM met the FTCMCC educational standards and compliance with relevanant requirements in September 2013 and provided CCATCM with a Certificate of Accreditation. 

 

MLA Kelly Regan Recognizes CCATCM

Bedford MLA Kelly Regan recognized CCATCM as the first college dedicated to Acupuncture with a resolution that was read in the house in Nova Scotia in November 2010.

Former Mayor Peter Kelly recognizes the CCATCM as the first college in the Maritimes dedicated to Acupuncture

Peter Kelly, the former mayor of the Halifax Regional Municipality, provided the CCATCM with the following recognition as the first Maritime Career College dedicated to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in November 2010.
